Invitation only!!
1) Valley Academy is currently receiving applications for the 2013-14 school years. Applications are available on our “vhsvikings” website, in the administration office, or please contact or visit the Academy office for more information: Ph: (505) 345-9021 Ext. 54006
2) Valley Academy, the Fine Arts Department, the Spanish Language Department along with other clubs are currently planning a collaborative art project to beautify our campus. The generous donation by the Parent Advisory Committee has allowed us to purchase over 500 ceramic tiles which will be decorated by our Valley students and will adorn our Academy garden area between C and D buildings among other areas. It is providing a wonderful opportunity for students and groups to showcase their artistic talent on the tiles which will also be personalized with each person’s signature and his/her year of graduation.
We are planning to present the finished project to Valley High School and the community prior to graduation 2013. The dedication will honor not only the artistry of Valley students, but also honor Cesar Quesada Rojas, who had a tremendously positive impact on the school community prior to his recent passing.
If you would like to donate monies or products for this project, we will need the following items: grout, adhesive, tools, and anyone who has experiencing lying tile and would like to donate some time towards completing the project would be extremely helpful.
Please contact: Alicia Garcia, Academy Director, or ChrIsula Cunningham, Social Studies, for more information
